Our Clients Inlcude:

With over 10 years experience, we are one of the UK's leading providers of Asbestos Training

"Good course which is well presented time wise and contained some new information I was not aware of. It has more information than other courses and also presents the information in a user friendly manner, especially the legislative requirements which are put in simple terms.

The best on-line course I have seen so far, plus it’s cheaper! I will be moving from our current on-line supplier and putting out a note to the company to now use the Boss version."

why elearning

eLearning is booming worldwide. Since 2000 the global growth in the eLearning sector has been a staggering 900%!

The reason for this is that it makes learning quicker, it is easier to organise, less expensive and staff can do it from the comfort of their own home, vastly improving attendance and completion rates!

We recommend that our online asbestos awareness course is undertaken in a suitable environment – somewhere that is quiet and free from distraction and interruption.

We have ensured that our eLearning course has been created so that it is suitable across all devices. However we strongly recommend that the course is taken on a screen size of 10″. If this is not possible the absolute minimum screen size is 7″.

The best device for the course to taken on would be a computer or laptop, but the course can be taken on tablet devices. You should ensure that your web browser is current and up to date and that your device has sound enabled.

Our UKATA asbestos awareness online test is easy to set up and allocate to users.

reasons to use elearning

Save Money
As eLearning is considerably cheaper (especially if you are registering a lot of employees or as an individual looking to becoming asbestos aware) it is a great option from a financial point of view. So, whether you are a business looking to purchase credits in bulk, or an individual needing to provide UKATA certification on site, our Online Asbestos Awareness training course is the obvious choice.
Save Time
Another advantage of eLearning is that it usually requires 40-60% less employee time – which as well as contributing to money saving also frees up resources! The flexibility eLearning affords allows the training to be done outside of standard working hours.
the green alternative
If your company is dedicated to becoming greener, studies show that eLearning courses consume an average of 90% less energy and produces 85% less CO2 emissions than their classroom based counterparts.

Boss Training are proud to have converted our UKATA approved asbestos training programme into eLearning format. Our online Asbestos Awareness course can be booked simply and quickly online and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

But don’t worry, any problems and you can reach a real person either by telephone or email from Monday to Friday during office hours (9.00am-5.00pm).

Boss Training is responsible for successfully training thousands of people every year in the various UKATA Asbestos Awareness training courses we run. All our courses are subject to incredibly strict auditing procedure, including the eLearning course, which ensures consistency in excellence and a superior learning experience across the board.

with asbestos you cannot afford to wait
In 2015 asbestos related mesothelioma fatalities in the UK reached their peak at around 2,000, which shows that asbestos is still a very real problem. Those who are not trained in how to spot, deal with, not disturb and work around asbestos containing materials are literally entering their lives into a lottery, while companies who fail to ensure that their employees are asbestos aware can face dire financial, not to mention moral consequences.
experience counts
Boss Training are delighted to be able to call on over a decade of experience to impart our expertise on our delegates through first class training material and the best service that the industry has to offer. Our quality of service gives you the peace of mind that you will be joining the tens of thousands of satisfied candidates who have successfully completed a Boss Training programme.

structure of the course

Boss Training’s asbestos awareness UKATA online course consists of the following four modules:

MODULE 1: PROPERTIES, RISKS AND EFFECTS ON HEALTH OF ASBESTOS EXPOSURE
MODULE 2: TYPES OF ASBESTOS
MODULE 3: USES AND LOCATIONS OF ASBESTOS IN BUILDINGS
MODULE 4: EMERGENCY PROCEDURES AND LEGISLATION

After each module, the applicants will be asked a series of multiple choice questions and in order to progress each module must be passed before the next one can be begun.

There is a final assessment at the end of the course, after which all successful candidates can immediately print their UKATA asbestos awareness certificate.
